However, on console you can actually use mages to dump essence while getting the full multiplier on grim scythe from Legers’s (the offhand is a open slot for LOD CE), so on console you can do reasonable amounts of damage with grim scythe/mages between land of the dead- but you will be missing the extra 50% DR from staying between 90-99% resource. On PC you only use scythe to build striken stacks, but you want to stay between 90-99% essence so you can get 50% DR from both Raz shoulders and Aquila Cuiras in your burn phase or when you are running around creating piles.
There are more implications for Corpse Explosion too. On console you can spam mages while also grim scything (this is where the 33% extra damage comes from for grim scythe build) So on PC you ignore yourself and all your damage comes from simulacrums. Simulacrums always get the full effect of Leger’s disdain regardless of how much essence scythe gives you, but for your own grim scythe it has to give you essence to get the multiplier (essentially there is no multiplier at full resource). On console you can summon skeleton mages and grim scythe at the same time.
